Innovation and Technology

Innovation is an inseparable part of development that goes hand in hand with technology. ERIA investigates the impact of innovation and technology in development, such as e-commerce, digital marketplace, information and communication technology advancements, renewable energy, cyber security, and interactive learning, among others. Furthermore, ERIA's researchers look into production networks, innovation capability, information infrastructure, logistic networks, technological capability, distribution networks, and other topics around innovation and technology. Additionally, ERIA examines the externalities like spillover and transfers of technology that are not always included in the impact calculations of innovation and technology.
