Visit of ASEAN Journalists

Around 20 Journalists from ASEAN member states visited ERIA Annex Office on April 13, 2010. The visit of journalists was the second time. ERIA welcomed journalists from the ASEAN member states to learn more about the history, institutions and policies of ERIA and to provide the platform for activities that build the capacities of the journalists in the region.

 Introduction on ASEAN/ERIA activities was presented by Mr. Kavi Chongkittavorn, Senior Communications Advisor of ERIA. Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, was interviewed from journalists, stressing, "ERIA will strive for an ASEAN Community by the year 2015 and the emerging larger Asian community."
