The Keio Global COE Program and ERIA hosted the 5th Conference on Empirical Investigations in Trade and Investment (EITI) at Keio Mita Campus, Tokyo, Japan from 10 to 12 March 2011.

The EITI Conference is a renowned academic conference series for world-wide scholars in the field of empirical international trade. Out of over 80 submissions, 15 papers were selected for presentation.

This time, a big earthquake hit in the middle of the conference, which was 5+?in the Japanese seismic scale even in Tokyo. We all thus went under the table?for a while (photo 2) and then took a group photo with relief outside the building.
