PPP has been one important issue in ASEAN in recent years. It is viewed as one alternative of modalities to fulfil massive infrastructure demand in the region.

The major part of the report is a set of individual country profiles that summarize PPP policy, regulatory and institutional frameworks, and recent developments in each member country. The report also attaches a comparative information table as well as an introductory essay and case studies. It is hoped that this publication, together with "ASEAN PPP Guidelines" by ERIA will serve for policy makers or practitioners as an introduction to ASEAN PPP which is characterized by a great diversity in PPP readiness.
