The final workshop on "Regional Production Chains, Host-site Institutions and Technological Upgrading: Evidence from Automotives, Clothing, and Semiconductors in Southeast Asia and China" was wrapped up after one and a half day meeting held on 30 and 31, July 2013, in Jakarta, Indonesia with 13 Working Group (WG) research members from ASEAN and China.

The objective of this workshop is to discuss the second draft of papers before final completion.

During the meeting, the WG members presented their papers and rigorously discussed about the findings and suggestions to ensure the consistency and quality of the papers. The members also received further comments and suggestions from the project's team leader and ERIA's chief economist to strengthen the papers before going further refereeing process.

The final draft of the papers will be completed by the end of August and will be reviewed and edited for special issue's journal publication and edited book volume.
