Visit of Mr. Nobuyuki Higashi, Executive Officer of JBIC on July 18, 2012

Mr. Nobuyuki Higashi, Executive Officer for Asia and Pacific The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in Singapore, called on Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, on July 18, 2012.

Prof. Nishimura briefed on ERIA's history since its establishment and recent developments highlighting some flagship projects of ERIA such as Comprehensive Asia Development Plan (CADP), Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC), and Project of Mid-term Review on AEC Blueprint. They exchanged views on regional economic integration and reaffirmed the importance to enhance their cooperation.
