The 5th International Conference on Management of Innovation and Technology, first initiated by the IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), was held from 2 to 5 June 2010 in Singapore.

The conference brought together scholars, industrialists, and entrepreneurs interested in improving their research and development, and business applications in innovation and technology management across a global network of diverse platforms.

The paper entitled "The Effect of Internal and External Sources of Knowledge on Product Innovation in Southeast Asia" co-authored by Dr. Masatsugu Tsuji (University of Hyogo, Japan), Dr. Shoichi Miyahara (Aoyama Gakuin University, Japan), Dr. Yasushi Ueki (Bangkok Research Center IDE/JETRO, Thailand) and Dr. Tomohiro Machikita (IDE/JETRO, Japan) was awarded as a Outstanding Paper Award.
