The 2nd workshop of "The Study on FDI Policy and Performance in ASEAN Countries" for ERIA's research project, Fiscal Year 2013-2014 was held on February 21, 2014 at Lombok, Indonesia.

Dr. Shandre M. Thangavelu, Associate Professor, NUS, as the Project Leader, Prof. Shujiro Urata as ERIA's Senior Research Advisor to the Executive Director, Dr. Dionisius A. Narjoko, Researcher, ERIA and Working Group (WG) members from ERIA, ASEAN member states, China, Japan and Korea attended the Workshop. The objective of this workshop is to have a discussion regarding the draft report from all WG members and preparing revisions towards the final report. The project is intended to map FDI and other related policies in national level, and to draw their connection with the trend and performance of the actual FDI inflows.

During the meeting, the WG members presented their each preliminary reports. WG members also exchanged views about the potential revisions will be needed before completion of each of the papers. Each WG members plan to accommodate the opinions, input, and revision advises from other participants regarding their research report, complete and submit the final reports to ERIA in the end of March 2014.
