Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Toshimitsu Motegi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan on April 9, 2013 in Tokyo, Japan.

Prof. Nishimura briefed on ERIA's history and its organization and updated ERIA's recent activities toward ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015. The Minister noted about the ERIA's works and expressed his expectations for further ERIA's contribution to ASEAN and East Asia.
