Executive Director of ERIA meets Secretary-General of OECD

Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Angel Gurria, Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on January 31, 2014 in Paris, France.

Prof. Nishimura appreciated the OECD's support to ERIA especially on the project of SME Policy Index developed by ERIA and OECD, and insisted that ERIA and OECD should be partners working closely in the region.

H.E. Mr. Gurria invited ERIA to the OECD event "OECD Southeast Asia Regional Forum" on March 25 and 26, 2014 in Bali and said that "ERIA is very important shining reality and collaboration with ERIA is critical for OECD". He also said, "it is very encouraging that we have prospects of further cooperation in the region to work together".Both dignitaries exchanged views on further collaboration between two organizations for advancing the SME Policy Index and evaluation for next step.
