Executive Director of ERIA has a Meeting with Chairman and President of the Ehime Bank, Ltd., Japan

Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, had a meeting with Mr. Kojiro Nakayama, Chairman of the Ehime Bank Ltd. and Mr. Motohiro Honda, President of the Ehime Bank, Ltd. on May 22, 2013. Mr. Nakayama and Mr. Honda extended a warm welcome to Prof. Nishimura.

Prof. Nishimura briefed them some of recent developments of ERIA towards ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015 and beyond. Mr. Nishimura emphasized that ERIA will continue to enhance its role by providing requisite and timely economic analysis in carrying out the mandates from the Leaders and Ministers towards the ASEAN Community building. Mr. Nakamura and Mr. Honda noted ERIA's notable progress and expressed their expectations to ERIA for its further contribution to the region.The delegation consisting of private companies in Ehime Prefecture led by Mr. Nakayama will visit ERIA in July 2013.
