Phnom Penh, November 16, 2012 - More than 30 media people from India, Japan, Korea, Russia and ASEAN countries attended the one-day ERIA Editors'Roundtable on ASEAN "ASEAN towards Global Connectivity" on 16 November 2012 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Editors' Roundtable is organized by Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), ASEAN Foundation and Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP).

It was opened by H.R.H. Prince Norodom Sirivudh, Chairman of Directors, Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace (CICP).Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA and Dr. Makarim Wibisono, Executive Director, ASEAN Foundation, made opening remarks. H.E Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information, Kingdom of Cambodia, made key note address.

They discussed issues related to and increase awareness about challenges facing ASEAN and East Asia.
