Paris, 24 October 2023: In a significant development for entrepreneurship education and international collaboration, Dr Giulia Ajmone Marsan, ERIA's Strategy and Partnership Director, has been appointed as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the OECD Entrepreneurship Education Collaboration and Engagement Initiative (EECOLE).

This prestigious role will see Dr. Ajmone Marsan spearheading efforts to advance entrepreneurship education on a global scale and serves as a significant development that holds great promise for the entrepreneurship and innovation activities of ERIA’s Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (DISC).

The EECOLE Initiative, which hosted its inaugural roundtable in November 2022 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, brought together over 100 participants from 21 countries, representing 75 institutions. Co-chaired by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), the event set the stage for crucial discussions on entrepreneurship education and engagement.

ERIA congratulates Dr Ajmone Marsan on this remarkable appointment and eagerly anticipates the positive transformation she will bring to the OECD EECOLE Initiative.
