Tyagita Silka Hapsari holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature from Universitas Indonesia.
Silka currently serves as Communications Supervisor at ERIA, where she plays a pivotal role in multimedia communications, event management, and digital transition, notably adapting ERIA's workshops and events during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a Fulbright US-ASEAN Visiting Scholar, Silka conducted research on artificial intelligence at the East-West Center in Washington, DC, during the Spring of 2023.
Prior to joining ERIA, she was a senior researcher at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), where she worked closely with the Advisor to the Chairman. She had a two-year stint as a journalist in Thomson Reuters’ Jakarta bureau.
Her commitment extends beyond her professional life, as she actively participates in community service and mentoring activities at her alma mater, SMA Tarakanita 1 Jakarta.
