Senior Policy Advisor


Keisuke Ueda obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Bioscience, School of Science and Engineering Waseda University, Japan, in 2008 and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Waseda University, Japan, in 2010. After graduation, he started working for Tokyo Electric Power Company, Inc. (TEPCO), the biggest electric utility in Japan and engaged in power system operation/analysis, planning for voltage control operation. Since 2016, he has been involved with overseas consulting services in South Asia and Southeast Asia countries. He has been seconded to Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) from TEPCO Power Grid, Inc. (TEPCO PG) since 2019. Using his expertise, he has been conducting research on the power sector in ASEAN.
