International Symposium on 'New Normal, Integration and Inequality'

Overview

The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), in collaboration with Institute of Developing Economies- Japan External Trade Organization (IDE JETRO ) cordially invites you to the Symposium titled 'New Normal, Integration and Inequality' that will be held on 7 March 2017 at the Ballroom, InterContinental Jakarta - MidPlaza.

This symposium will discuss the implication of a 'new normal', as well as the issue of inequality in the context of globalisation and technology, focusing on an ASEAN and East Asia perspective. Keynote speeches will be given by Prof Mari Elka Pangestu, Former Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, titled 'New Normal, and Its Impact on Trade and Investment in East Asia' and Dr Theresa M. Greaney, Associate Professor, University of Hawaii, on 'Trade, Growth and Economic Inequality in the Asia-Pacific Region'.
