National Policy Dialogues

National Policy Dialogues are a way to generate public inputs around seminal ERIA studies. Participants include senior government officials, the business sector, academia, national and international organisations, chambers of commerce and embassies. These events are attended by around 200 people.

In 2016, the National Policy Dialogues were held around the following themes:

  • Lao PDR at the Crossroads: Industrialization Strategies 2016-2030; Vientiane, March 2016;
  • Benefits and Challenges for Reducing Unnecessary Regulatory Burdens; Yangon, October 2016.
