In December 2019, the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA),  the Demographic Research and Development Foundation (DRDF), and the University of the Philippines Population Institute (UPPI) launched the report Ageing and Health in the Philippines: Findings of the 2018 Longitudinal Study on Ageing and Health in the Philippines (LSAHP). Through this set of infographics, ERIA and DRDF presents the basic demographic indicators to understand the status of ageing in the Philippine population.

The LSAHP is designed to (1) investigate the health status and well-being, as well as their correlates, of Filipinos aged 60 years and over; and (2) assess the determinants of health status and transitions in health status and overall well-being. The data generated from the 2018 baseline survey and the succeeding waves will provide a wealth of information that will allow for a deeper understanding of ageing in the Philippines. The full report of the 2018 LSAHP can be downloaded from: https://www.eria.org/publications/ageing-and-health-in-the-philippines/
