Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director, ERIA, visited Hanoi on 19 -20 August 2010. On that occasion, Mr. Nishimura had a meeting with Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister, Chairman of Government Office of Vietnam (left above) and Mr. Truong Tan Sang, Member of Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam (right above).

Mr. Nishimura explained about the strategic research for the growth of Vietnam and a forthcoming symposium, to be held on 26th October 2010 in Ha Noi, in cooperation with the Harvard University.
