ERIA-AIPA virtual dialogue on ‘Waste Management in the Context of Covid-19 Pandemic’ was featured in DPR-RI website. (please note that the article is in Indonesian)

Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Parliamentary Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) Putu Supadma Rudana said, before the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, solid waste had become a problem for the environment. And this situation worsened during the Covid-19 pandemic, because plastic waste from households increased dramatically in line with home policies. For this reason, a zero waste program needs to be promoted again so that the volume of waste can be controlled immediately.
