Dr. Tamotsu Nomakuchi, President of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan, called on Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director, ERIA, on 23 February 2011.

Mr. Nishimura briefed on recent ERIA's activities especially about the Comprehensive Asia Development Plan (CADP) and the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC). Both parties shared an understanding about the importance of contribution and cooperation through Japan including AIST towards Economic Integration in ASEAN.

ERIA and JETRO Jakarta Center will hold a seminar about introduction of AIST by Dr. Nomakuchi on 25 February 2011 at ERIA Annex Office.
