Yoichiro Hatakeyama
Senior Policy Advisor
Yoichiro Hatakeyama is Senior Policy Advisor at Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). Prior to joining ERIA, he worked for East Japan Railway Company (JRE) and engaged in railway operations, administration in a railway improvement project, and planning and sales activities for consulting company of JRE group. Since 2022, he has been seconded to ERIA from JRE and conducting research on East Asia Industrial Corridor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts (International Language and Culture Studies) from International Communication Specialized Course, Faculty of Education and Human Studies, Akita University, Japan in 2012.
