 Tomy Waskitho has joined ERIA as a Research Associate for the Policy Design Department (PDD) as of February 2023. He holds Master’s Degree in Political Economy from the National Cheng Kung University, with a full scholarship provided by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.

Tomy Waskitho has joined ERIA as a Research Associate for the Policy Design Department (PDD) as of February 2023. He holds Master’s Degree in Political Economy from the National Cheng Kung University, with a full scholarship provided by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Tomy’s research interests revolve around the Political Economy of Development, International Political Economy, and Political Risk Analysis with a regional focus on East and Southeast Asia.

Tomy held a Junior Researcher position prior to his master’s degree program at Jusuf Kalla School of Government, where his co-authored paper has been published by the International Journal on Minority and Group Rights (BRILL publisher). He has presented his research papers in many conferences across Asia-Pacific countries. Tomy is currently supporting PDD’s projects related to blue economy and multilateral trade arrangements.
