ERIA and the ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter (MASHRAE) expressed interest in jointly organising an international conference on energy efficiency and decarbonisation during a discussion on 5 June 2024. ERIA and MASHRAE have agreed to plan the inaugural International Conference on Built Environment and Sustainability, which will coincide with MASHRAE’s 39th Anniversary Dinner on 25 October 2024. The theme of the conference will be 'Decarbonisation through Energy Efficiency.'
Objectives:
- To promote greater awareness and updates on energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability practices in Malaysia and the region.
- To provide a platform for professionals, practitioners, academics, researchers, regulators and policy makers to share, exchange views and discuss new technologies and developments available to industries.
