The Longitudinal Study of Ageing and Health in the Philippines (LSAHP) in 2018 is the first multi-actor longitudinal study on ageing in the Philippines with information coming from older Filipinos, their caregivers, and adult children. It was conducted by ERIA and the Demographic Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (DRDF).

The 2018 baseline data provides comprehensive information on the health, economic status, and overall well-being of a nationally representative sample of elderly Filipinos aged 60 and above. These data have been a valuable resource for the crafting of evidence-based policies and programmes for this sector of the population.

Now, ERIA and DRDF are releasing the data of the baseline survey with researchers and policymakers in order to further develop this data to achieve a better society. This webinar is being held to explain the details of the survey and data, with an introduction on how to use it. Some examples of policy-related research will be shared, encouraging participants to utilise the data for impactful achievements. The data is expected to be released soon after the event, to those who the organiser approves after submitting a proposal and signed data usage agreement. The data request form will be activated as soon as this seminar has ended.
