ERIA-CIIE.CO Webinar Series – Building Prolific Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in ASEAN with Insight from India - Episode #4
Rural women increasingly run their own enterprises, yet their socio-economic contributions and entrepreneurial potential remain largely unrecognized and untapped. For many rural women in India and ASEAN, entrepreneurship is part of a broader livelihood strategy, however, they’re faced with pivotal barriers from access to resources, limited social and legal protection, to difficulties in entering new and lucrative markets to expand their businesses.
With the 4th episode of ERIA-CIIE.CO online discussion, we aim to introduce the Indian and ASEAN women entrepreneurship ecosystems to various stakeholders in the region, from the emerging social enterprise, startup & incubator as well as policy. We will be focusing on key initiatives and challenges in the ecosystem for rural women entrepreneurs and sharing inspired ideas that leverage the livelihood/women economy and entrepreneurship in rural areas.
Join us as we discuss women entrepreneurs; focusing on rural women empowerment!
