At this international conference, we will discuss the vision of Asian smart cities of the post-COVID world. In many Asian regions where the demographic dividend has been disappearing, promoting top-down urban development is becoming obsolete. Rather, we think that making the metropolitan area that has accumulated history smarter from the bottom up by utilizing the Digital Transformation Technologies. At this conference, based on open democratic communication, we will discuss the idea, way of thinking, technology, and methodologies from various angles to realize an “Asian smart city” that includes various people with different cultures, religions, values, etc.
