
ERIA SoG Shares Insights on Trade and Supply Chains at China–India–Southeast Asia Dialogue
Singapore, 11–12 September 2026: Professor Nobuhiro Aizawa, Dean and Managing Director of the ERIA School of Government, represented ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe as a panellist at the China–India–Southeast Asia Economic Dialogue 2026, organised by the East Asian Institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER).
Professor Aizawa participated in Session 2, ‘Deep Dive on Trade, Investment, and Supply Chains, ’ alongside Professor Amita Batra of Jawaharlal Nehru University; Professor Tu Xinquan of the University of International Business and Economics; Dr Nisha Taneja of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations; Dr Guo Kai of CF40 Research and the East Asian Institute, NUS; Dr Nguyen Thanh Trung of Fulbright University Vietnam; and Mr Adrian Ng of Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry.
The session brought together experts and policymakers to discuss economic interdependence, regional stability, and emerging challenges to trade, investment, and supply chains. Discussions also touched on regional co-operation, crisis management, and the importance of co-operation on labour markets and employment.
Professor Aizawa’s contribution to the discussions highlights ERIA’s commitment to strengthening regional co-operation and addressing emerging economic challenges in Asia.
