The Health Innovation Spark for Women (HITS 4WOMEN) programme, organised by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) through its Health and Social Welfare Unit and the Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC), took place on 9–10 June 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The second event in the HITS series, it brought together nine startup finalists, investors, clinicians, policymakers, and civil society leaders to advance regional dialogue on women’s health equity, access, and sustainability.

Over 2 days, the programme featured a Fem Tech pitching challenge, with top honoursawarded to Hey Venus, Nu Mom, and Pathology AI Lab, alongside interactive World Café sessions, targeted one-to-one business matchma king, and a site visit to Prodia Women’s Health Center. This report synthesises key insights from the proceedings, highlighting the systemic socioeconomic and cultural barriers women face throughout their lives, the potential of Fem Tech to address healthcare gaps across Southeast Asia, and actionable policy priorities for cross-border collaboration and stronger health systems.
