ERIA President and National Bank of Cambodia Governor Discuss Green Digital Finance and Net-Zero Emissions

Phnom Penh, 19 February 2025: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe met with H.E. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, to discuss their ongoing collaboration on green digital finance and net-zero emissions.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on current global economic challenges and trends, emphasising the need for sustainable financial solutions and digital innovations to support Cambodia’s transition to a greener economy. The discussion reaffirmed ERIA’s commitment to working closely with Cambodia to advance policies that promote financial resilience and sustainable development.

ERIA will continue to support Cambodia’s efforts to leverage green finance and digitalisation in order to achieve long-term economic growth and environmental sustainability.
