Kuala Lumpur, 27 October 2025: ERIA and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the Asia Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The MoU was signed by ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe and KADIN Chairman Anindya Bakrie.
The agreement establishes a strategic partnership to strengthen policy research, capacity building, and knowledge sharing in support of sustainable economic integration across the ASEAN region. Collaboration will focus on key areas such as digital transformation, energy transition, and sustainable industrial development.
Through this partnership, ERIA and KADIN will develop a structured framework for joint initiatives and policy dialogues, leveraging their respective strengths, expertise, and networks to promote evidence-based policymaking and regional co-operation.
The partnership underscores the growing importance of cross-sector collaboration in addressing complex, interlinked challenges that span multiple economies and industries.
