Profile

Megawati joined ERIA in May 2025 as a Trade Policy Fellow in the Policy Design and Operations Department.

Prior to joining ERIA, Megawati served as the Coordinator of the Cooperation Team and the National Interest Advisory Secretariat Team at the Trade Policy Agency, Ministry of Trade, Republic of Indonesia. She also held the position of Indonesia’s Trade Attaché in Paris (2018–2021), where she led trade diplomacy efforts, enhanced market access for Indonesian products in France, Andorra, and Monaco, and engaged with international organizations such as the OECD and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE).

Megawati has been recognized for her contributions to the Ministry of Trade, receiving the Employee of the Year award in 2023. She is also a recipient of prestigious scholarships, including the Australia Awards Scholarship and the StuNed Scholarship.
