Ghalib Al Halim is the Executive Secretary to the President at ERIA since July 2026. He supports the President in strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and the coordination of high-level regional and international engagements, while contributing to ERIA's policy and institutional priorities across ASEAN and East Asia.

Before joining ERIA, Ghalib served as Executive Assistant to the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and later worked in the Office of the Board, where he supported corporate strategy, board governance, and cross-functional implementation. He also contributed to strategic policy initiatives at Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation through the Strategic Delivery Unit.

Ghalib holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Economics, specialising in Strategic Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics and Business Economics, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His interests include ASEAN economic integration, economic diplomacy, industrial policy, regional connectivity, energy security, and sustainable development.
