Carbon Recycling in ASEAN and East Asia

Project Overview

This study explored the socio-economic, governance, regulatory, and environmental aspects of carbon recycling. Research topics included strategies to enhance the competitiveness of carbon recycling, analysis of technology development, socio-economic valuation of carbon recycling activities (including their future potential), governance and regulatory frameworks, and the role of regional cooperation in accelerating deployment across the region.

The study was conducted through a call for proposals from ACN member countries. Out of 30 submissions, nine were selected:

  7. A Global Systematic Review on the Cost of Carbon Recycling Technologies: Towards Sustainable Financing Avenue in Indonesia
  8. Catalysing Carbon Circularity: The Role of Green Finance, Trade, and Governance in Reducing Carbon Emissions in the EAS Countries
  9. Assessing the Feasibility of Implementing Carbon Recycling Technologies in Indonesia
