Jakarta, 27 May 2025: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe welcomed a courtesy visit from H.E. Ambassador Phasporn Sangasubana, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD), at ERIA headquarters in Jakarta.

Established at the 35th ASEAN Summit in Thailand, ACSDSD serves as a regional platform to advance ASEAN’s sustainable development agenda. The Centre is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the meeting, President Watanabe and Ambassador Phasporn discussed shared regional priorities and explored opportunities for closer collaboration between ERIA and ACSDSD. Key areas of interest included joint initiatives to promote the circular economy, support entrepreneurship, and harness digital innovation for sustainable development across ASEAN.

The dialogue also highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in navigating the evolving landscape of sustainability and innovation in Southeast Asia.
