E-DISC and Singapore University of Social Sciences Discuss Collaboration to Empower Impact Startups

Jakarta, 4 April 2024: ERIA Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC), with Mahirah Mahusin serving as Manager for Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy, alongside Kentaro Machii, who serves as Program Manager for Startup Ecosystem, warmly welcomed a visit from Dr Yap Meen Sheng, Dean of Students, Students SUcceSS Centre, SUSS, and delegation to discuss potential collaboration in fostering a thriving ecosystem for impact startups in the region.
Accompanying Dr Yap Meen Sheng were Yeo Lay, Vice-Dean of Students; Jessica Xue, Specialist & Lead (Global Engagement); and Mohammad Ayaz, Lead (Global Initiatives), of SUSS’ Students SUcceSS Centre.
In addition to applied social sciences, SUSS offers signature entrepreneurship programmes, training, and mentorship designed to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset to address social issues and launch impact-driven ventures.
Leveraging on the strengths of both institutions to advance open innovation and drive positive change, E-DIS and SUSS agreed to continue engagement and look forward to joint initiatives that support the growth of the startup ecosystem.
