Adinda Soerono

Research Associate

Profile

Adinda Soerono joined ERIA in April 2025 as a Research Associate in the Economics Unit. Her work explores how firms in ASEAN and the broader Asia-Pacific region are adapting to a shifting global landscape—such as changes in how they source materials, organize production, and access markets.

She is interested in the lived dimensions of trade and development: how trade affects workers, how SMEs navigate uncertainty, and how policy can better respond to realities on the ground.

  • Applied microeconometrics (panel data, fixed effects/instrumental variables)
  • Firm-level microdata analysis
  • Scenario modeling and macro-financial forecasting
Education

Adinda holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics (2024) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Economics (2021), both from the Australian National University.
