The MEI-MEJ Forum's first workshop, held on March 14th, 2023, marked a significant step towards enhancing healthcare in India through international collaboration. Sponsored by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), the workshop was a joint effort by Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ) and Indian national policy think tank, NITI Aayog. The focus was on acute medicine, with discussions centered on priority actions and the exchange of expert insights. This initiative is part of a broader aim to foster a better healthcare ecosystem in India by leveraging Japan's advancements in medical services and technology. The workshop also explored innovative solutions like Advanced Air Mobility for healthcare logistics, reflecting a commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into medical systems for improved patient care.
