Tokyo, 26 January 2024: The Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai) held a seminar themed ‘Achievements of the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation and the Future of ASEAN-Japan Partnership’ on Friday. During the seminar, ERIA President, Tetsuya Watanabe, addressed human resource development and exchange as crucial tools for tackling social issues across Japan and ASEAN. He stressed the role of youth in shaping the future of relations and introduced ERIA's new Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC).

Executives from Japan, along with students and young professionals from both regions, attended the event. They shared personal experiences, perspectives, and ideas for strengthening ASEAN-Japan future cooperation.
