Ms. Anita Prakash, Policy Relations Director of ERIA attended the International Symposium on "Asia's Economic Challenges and Policy Choices" hosted jointly by the Japan Economic Foundation (JEF) and East Asia Bureau of Economic Research, Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU College of Asia Pacific on November 6,2013 in Canberra, Australia.

The keynote address was given by Mr David Gruen, Executive Director, Macroeconomic Group of the Treasury, Australia. The Symposium was attended by leading economists and intellectuals as well as representatives of Australian government. The Symposium discussed the economic and related challenges faced by Asia and the prospects of its growth in near future.
