ERIA Discusses Green Innovations at Coventry University/British High Commission Innovation Event

Singapore, 22-23 February 2024: Innovation, technology and startup-creation have an important role to play in the ASEAN green transition, and this was discussed by Dr Giulia Ajmone Marsan, ERIA Director for Strategy and Partnership during the Trilateral Innovation Partnerships conference, organised by Coventry University Singapore with the support of the British High Commission in Singapore.

The event examined how cross-border partnerships foster innovation across different continents; and experts from academia, international organisations and the business sector gathered to discuss how to foster public-private collaboration, university-business linkages to promote entrepreneurship and the role innovation plays in the green economy.

Dr Ajmone Marsan outlined the activities and research of the ERIA Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC) during the session Policy and Regulatory Drivers of Sustainability, looking at current regional and global trends in relation to green innovation and agri-tech entrepreneurship.

The event was organised and convened by Dr Michael Yap, Regional Managing Director of the Coventry University Hub and his team. Professor William Chen, Nanyang Technological University delivered a keynote lecture on innovation in food systems.
