Jakarta, 6 October 2025: The Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Prof. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, paid a courtesy visit to the ERIA office in Jakarta.

ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe and Prof. Armida discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between ERIA and UNESCAP in areas of mutual interest, including the ASEAN Trade Intelligence and Negotiations Advisor (ASEAN TINA), sustainability, and economic resilience. Both sides underscored the importance of advancing joint initiatives to promote sustainable development and inclusive growth across the region.
