Vientiane, 21 September 2024: On the sidelines of the EAS-EMM meeting in Vientiane, ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Nobuhiro Yoshida, the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry and Head of the Japanese Delegation.

The two discussed energy transition and digital innovation in ASEAN and East Asian countries, exploring opportunities for further cooperation. The ERIA President expressed gratitude to the Japanese Government for its strong support of ERIA's activities.
