1st Working Group Meeting of "Energy Saving Potential Analysis in East Asia"

The 1st Working Group (WG) Meeting of "Energy Saving Potential Analysis in East Asia" was held from 27 to 30 September 2010 at ERIA Annex Office.

10 EAS countries attended in the meeting to discuss the overall research plan in FY2010-FY2011 and reviewed the results of research study in FY 2009.  

The WG members decided on the tasks to be done by the 2nd WG meeting. Tasks are to update the energy outlooks (BAU and APS) of all EAS countries and to conduct sample survey on energy consumption in residential sector using a questionnaire and estimating energy saving potential applying bottom-up approach.

In this regard, the WG members designed a questionnaire for energy consumption survey and discussed EEC capacity building needed by ASEAN countries during the meeting.
