The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) and the ASEAN Research Institute for Strategic Studies and Enterprise (ARi SE), will hold an ASEAN High Level Public Symposium entitled, Building ASEAN: Political Security Community and Regional Resiliency, on June 18,2017, at the iconic International Convention Center in Iloilo City, Philippines.

This event is part of the joint publication-cum-outreach initiative of the Philippine Government and ERIA to commemorate the 50th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN. Primarily, this collaborative endeavour aims to enhance the understanding of the peoples of ASEAN about the ASEAN Political Security Community (APSC), no less than to generate new insights and forward-looking recommendations on how to strengthen and move the APSC into 2025 and beyond.
