Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA met with Mr. Naoki Inose, Governor of Tokyo on October 24, 2013 in Tokyo, Japan.

Prof. Nishimura explained to the Governor about ERIA's recent achievements as mentioned in the statement from the recent ASEAN and EAS Summit meetings.

Mr. Inose expressed his expectations towards ERIA's further contribution for the ASEAN Community building. Both dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to future collaboration between the two organizations.
