ERIA President Meets the Chairman of ASEAN-BAC 2025

Jakarta, 4 December 2024: Tan Sri Nazir Razak, Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) 2025, paid a courtesy visit to ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe at ERIA’s office in Jakarta. President Watanabe warmly welcomed Tan Sri Nazir Razak and expressed his gratitude for the visit, reaffirming his commitment to fostering collaboration with ASEAN-BAC.

During their meeting, the two leaders engaged in a productive discussion on key issues affecting the business environment in ASEAN. They explored potential areas for collaboration between ASEAN-BAC and ERIA, focusing on initiatives that could act as transformative ‘game-changers’ for the region during Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025. Both parties emphasised their strong mutual interest in working closely together to advance these objectives.
