The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and Fukuoka Prefecture of Japan organize ERIA Fukuoka Forum 2013 "Economic Integration in East Asia: Opportunities and Challenges for Japanese SME(Small and Medium sized Enterprise)" on February 14, 2013 at Hotel Okura Fukuoka in Japan.

Fukuoka, one of the prefectures in Kyushu island, leads the region's economy, and seeks more robust economic relationship with the Asian countries, taking its geographical advantage. The Forum introduces the current investment environment in East Asia and Fukuoka SME Development Strategy, and discusses business opportunities for Japanese SME in the process of the regional economic integration and challenges and prospects of the Japanese SME's development in the two part panel discussion sessions. This is the second Forum held in Fukuoka, following the previous forum ERIA Regional Network Forum in Fukuoka in Feb 2012.
