Delegation led by Advisor of the Ehime Bank, Ltd. Visits ERIA

The delegation from The Ehime Bank, Ltd., led by Mr. Kimihide Ikeda, Advisor of the Ehime Bank, Ltd., and around 20 heads of private enterprises in Ehime Prefecture of Japan visited ERIA on July 16, 2013. Mr. Kenichi Kuroda, Advisor of PT. TORAY Industries Indonesia and Mr. Katsutoshi Ina, President Director of PT. SIKO TECHNO also participated as representatives of Japanese companies in Indonesia.

This was the third time visit of ERIA for the delegation from Ehime. Mr. Ikeda opened the meeting and expressed his appreciation for ERIA to receive the delegation. Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, briefly explained the history of economic integration of East Asia, ERIA's achievements since the last visit of the delegation in August 2012, and progress in the region towards ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015.

The delegation noted ERIA's role of contributing for ASEAN and East Asia and shared the knowledge on economic outlook in the region.
