June 16, 2014 - The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) has recently published a Comparative Table of Public Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks in 10 ASEAN countries.

The Table contains essential information on PPP policy and related topics in each ASEAN country classified into A: Regulatory and Institutional Setting, B: Financial Support, C: Land and Buildings, D: Selection Process, and E: Examples of PPP Projects. This study is an attempt to expand the dissemination and reach of ERIA's annual publication on "PPP in Five ASEAN Countries" to all 10 ASEAN nations, adding information on Brunei, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Singapore. This is in recognition of the fact that it has become very important to have a comparative and comprehensive understanding of various PPP policy frameworks for policy makers and business parties to promote and engage in cross-border as well as domestic infrastructure projects in the region.
